2023 was the year everyone “tried” ChatGPT. They wrote an email, asked for an idea, were impressed \u2014 and then went back to their old habits.<\/p>\n

In 2026, that luxury no longer exists.<\/p>\n

With 25 years in digital marketing, I’ve seen every “revolution” come and go: banner ads, SEO, social media networks, mobile-first. Every single time, the businesses that moved early won. The rest scrambled to catch up. AI isn’t just another trend \u2014 it’s the biggest shift I’ve seen in the industry since I started.<\/p>\n

What Are These Tools, in Practice?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Anthropic’s Claude aren’t just “smart chatbots.” They’re digital assistants that can write content, analyze data, respond to customers, create ads, and design strategy \u2014 at a fraction of the time and cost that previously required an entire marketing department.<\/p>\n

A real example from my own market: a client in the tourism industry had to produce content every month for their blog, social media, and newsletter \u2014 three different collaborators, three different briefs, a lot of coordination, a lot of cost. Try it on your own content.<\/strong> Ask ChatGPT or Claude to write a social media post for your business. You won’t use it as-is \u2014 but you’ll see what it can do.<\/p>\n

Use it for customer service.<\/strong> Many businesses lose customers because they don’t respond fast enough. An AI chatbot on your site or Facebook can change that picture from day one.<\/p>\n

Learn to “talk” to AI properly.<\/strong> The quality of the answer depends on the quality of the question. This is called prompt engineering \u2014 and it’s the new core skill for every professional in 2026.<\/p>\n

The Bottom Line<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The question isn’t whether AI will affect your business. It’s already affecting it \u2014 through your competitors who adopted it, through consumers who now expect faster and more personalized experiences, through the changes in how search and content work.<\/p>\n
